Bill has been in love with the sport of cycling for over 30 years, he currently works at GE’s Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY. He is a licensed USA Cycling Coach, and has been involved in many aspects in the world of bicycle racing since 1980. He has qualified for the Cycling National Championships in road, track and time trialing events. A former bicycle shop owner in White Plains, NY he was rated in the Top 100 Bicycle Retailers three out of seven years in business. After the sale of his shop, Bill worked for Vetta Sports, Inc. (a bicycle accessories manufacturer in NYC) and Spinergy Wheels in CT. In 1999 Bill and his family move to the Capital Region where he freelanced for Serotta Cycles in Saratoga before he started with GE.
Bill has been a student of “Bicycle Fit” since attending Coaching Training at the Olympic Training Center and Serotta Fit School, and is constantly refining his fit skills. He enjoys educating others on the “why and how” of bicycle design, and how a properly fit bicycle delivers the best possible riding position maximizing comfort and efficiency for whatever your cycling program and goals.
Currently you will find Bill out on a tandem with his wife Natalie in the hills of Charlton, NY. Last year he rode over 4400 miles (3020 of those were on their tandem). Bill considers himself a Campagnolo and Titanium snob but has Shimano Dura Ace on one of his tandems and Ultegra on his Cyclocross bike.
